Rain fails to dampen 2009 James Island Cup

The James Island Youth Soccer Club would like to thank the 124 teams that participated in the 15th Annual James Island Cup. A new era debuted this year as the JI Cup open its doors to include Academy, Classic and Challenge teams. There were (25) division winners with teams from GA, FL, SC and NC crowned as Champions.  The Lowcountry weather was at its best on Saturday with temperatures in the low 70's. On Sunday the rain held off long enough to get most of the matches complete before the rain came.

We are also grateful for our wonderful sponsors:McDonald’s, Lloyds Soccer and James Island Physical Therapy.

JIYSC wishes all a very joyous holiday season and hopes to see you again next year on November 21-22 for the 2010 James Island Cup.

Thank you,
Kenyon Cook
