Coach Kevin carries thirteen plus years of soccer wealth and experience ranging from Europe to the Caribbean both as a Professional Player and Youth Coach. Coach K holds a USSF National D License, NSCAA National Youth, NSCAA Regional Diploma, NSCAA Advanced Regional Diploma, NSCAA National Diploma (Distinguished Pass), NSCAA Online Learning Certificate and NSCAA Goalkeeping Institute State Goalkeeping Diploma Level 1, *NSCAA Advance National Diploma* and an English FA Soccer Coaching Certificate, he is a current member of the SCYSA Coaching Committee, NSCAA/BSCC, CASRA (Charleston Area Soccer Referee Association) and is a 2011 Certified USSF Referee.

In the Fall 2010 season he successfully led the JIYSC95 Girls Red to their second consecutive State Cup Title and as such earned them a birth in their third consecutive appearance in the Region 111 Presidents Cup Championships to be held in Decatur Alabama June 8th-13th. Coach Kevin was also the recipient of the SCYSA 2010 Girls Coach of the Year.

Coach K is married to wife Trena they have 3 children, Tianna age 8, Dominic age 5 and Imani age 3. Prior to joining James Island Youth Soccer Club, he coached with Summerville Soccer Club in Summerville SC, Coerver Coaching South Carolina, Fort Dorchester High School Girls Varsity in North Charleston SC, Eltham Park Football Club in St Catherine Jamaica and Pembroke Hall Football Club in Kingston Jamaica, he is currently a Charleston Battery Senior Camp Staff Coach. He was commissioned an Honorable Kentucky Colonel and seal of the Commonwealth of the State of Kentucky affixed upon his name by Governor Paul E Patton in 2000.
