Classic and Challenge Teams Coordinator
 
Patrick Olalere was the boy’s director at the Charleston United Soccer Club in West Ashley, South Carolina, where he has won numerous state cup championships at every level with girls and boys programs. He played professionally for 11 years and has played in the American Professional Soccer League for the Fort Lauderdale Strikers and in Major League Soccer with the New England Revolution. In the “A” League, he played for the Jacksonville Cyclones, New Orleans Gamblers, and Staten Island Vipers and for several years with the Charleston Battery in Charleston, South Carolina. He is the third all-time scorer with the Charleston Battery and also a Hall of Fame member with the Charleston Battery.

Doug Cuthill - 91 Girls Red

Doug joins JIYSC as the current coach of the Porter Gaud Girls Varisty Team. Doug has coached at various clubs (Charleston United, Carolina Girls and Hungrneck), he brings Nearly 19 years of coaching experience to James Island. He continues to be an active player in the Charleston Soccer League.

Doug holds a USSF National license



Vee Baku - 91 Boys Red


Played soccer from a young age at various levels. Uganda national league as a student player. Played collegiately at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. Moved to Aiken, South Carolina in 2003 and immediately started coaching with Aiken Soccer Club  forming the Aiken Rovers boys U9 - U12 boys teams. Also coached at South Aiken High school. Moved to Charleston in the Fall of 2007.

Vee holds a USSF D certification.


L. Manning Pruden - 93 Girls Red

 
Manning began her soccer career in North Carolina. She was the only female on Varsity male soccer team. She was an All State recipient as well as leading her team in assists. Manning received both gold and silver in the North Carolina state games. She attended the College of Charleston and played on their club team.
 
2006-2007 James Island JV Women’s head coach and assistant to the Varsity Women’s program.
2007-2008 South African Varsity Men’s head coach.


Mansour Haidary - 94 Boys Red

Mansour has been coaching ages 6-18 for past 15 years. He has won numerous state championships at various age groups.Coach Haidary’s professional accomplishments include:

USSF National C License
USSF National Youth Certification
USSF Referee
NSCAA National Diploma

 

Active member of : USSF, NSCAA and US Youth Coaching Association of America.

Gregg Smith - 95 Girls Red

Gregg has coached at JIYSC for the last 10 years and has been the club’s Head Coach for the last 2 years. He played college ball at Charleston Southern University way back when it was Baptist College and continues to play today in the Charleston Soccer League.

Gregg has a USSF National D license.

Ryan DiTullio - Select Team Trainer


Ryan began his soccer career at JIYSC in the Micro program and continued on through the Classic program. He played at high school ball at Summerville, Bearden in Knoxville and James Island before moving on to play at Lander College.

He recently coached an AYSO U16 Boys Team in San Francisco, Ca where they won the Division Championship.


Jaclyn Stoll - Select Team Goalkeeper Trainer


Jaclyn, goalkeeper coach at Charleston Southern University (second year) and Instructor for Player Development for Suarez Soccer School, joins JIYSC as the goalkeeper trainer for all Select Teams after having spent the last year as an Academy coach for Mount Pleasant Soccer Club.

Originally, from Fairfax Station, Virginia, Stoll came to Charleston in 2007 as a graduate from Coastal Carolina University, Conway, SC. Stoll was a four-year starter in goal for the Chanticleers, and earned her bachelor of arts degree with a double-major in psychology and sociology.
